About Turtle Moon

As Owner/Operator of Turtle Moon Massage & Wellness, Rachel Dalgetty, LMT, RMT (Licensed and Registered Massage Therapist), provides mobile massage therapy services to Calgary and Foothills assisting clients in finding tranquility, inner peace and harmony.  Rachel is a member of the NHPC (Natural Health Practitioners of Canada) and was trained in Calgary.

Our massage practice focuses on providing nurturing, compassionate and professional services to enhance the health and well-being of our clients.  A true believer in life long learning, Rachel reads books and attends classes to learn about personal growth and other complimentary health services available. 

The loss of her mother made her realize that there is so much more to life and that it was time to start living life.  Unsure what it was exactly she wanted to "do", her spiritual journey and soul searching began.  Through the wonderful people she met at just the right time, different doors opened and she was guided to Massage Therapy as a base for her new career.  

Symbolism of “Turtle Moon”

Rachel has always had a fondness for turtles, and loves seeing them while scuba diving in the waters of our amazing mother earth.  Turtle's magic unites heaven and earth.  The shell symbolizes heaven, and the underside symbolizes the earth. Turtles represent patience, longevity, endurance, protection, strength, and creation. 

The moon represents light within the darkness, and is associated with the female divine energy. As the moon waxes and wanes and is reborn anew, it brings us the potential to connect with our own ability to rejuvenate our lives.
